New War collaboration with Daniel Littleton, Jean Cook, and Hitoko Sakai under the name MOUNTAIN OCEAN SUN. A 64 minute track will be released by the Japanese/British label Home Normal, catalog number HOME_N005 on September 11, 2009.

"Recorded on a moutain, in the woods, near a river, a lake, and the city, the summer air was heavy and we sweated a lot. When it was over I was blind. I was pummeled by the minimalixm."

A whole bunch of new additions to the Silver Mountain Media Group store were added today - including the absolutely definitive ESP Summer compilation called The Complete Recordings - which was remastered by His Name Is Alive's Warn Defever and sanctioned by Ian Masters.

If you already bought the ESP Summer download Silver Mountain offered last year, you can upgrade to this definitive updated version for FREE. See the Silver Mountain site for details.

Other new items in the Silver Mountain store include ESP Family, Erika Hoffmann, two solo Warn Defever albums and 1960s Idonesian pop/surf act The Steps.

Also, for those that insist on the highest audio quality possible, we are in the process of adding releases in the superior and lossless FLAC format. Albums by His Name Is Alive like Detrola and Xmmer are now available in this new format. We just finished a small edition of our electric kalimbas. They are all handmade, beautiful, and electric. Some of the instruments closely resemble a typical kalimba, mbira, or African thumb piano while others offer a wild deeper bass sound with gong or gamelan-like overtones.

This lastest run is our best work and sound amazing through any guitar amp, bass amp, P.A., or even played acoustically.

Previously our work has only been available at HIS NAME IS ALIVE and NOMO concerts and this is the first time we will be offering them for sale online.

Our instruments have been featured on NPR several times in the past few months, and you can hear examples of them in action on several NOMO and HIS NAME IS ALIVE records.

If you have any questions, please email twentysevenkalimbas@gmail.com.

Thanks
Elliot Bergman and Warn Defever
